EFF: Six Tips to Protect Your Online Search Privacy

Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) was kind enough to develop a guide on how to keep searches private. After the fiasco with AOL, net users were given a cold splash of water to remind them that their searches on the Internet is not so private. In fact, it is quite the opposite. By building up a profile based on search queries, someone or some agency can identify the person behind those queries. It's not Star Trek technology, it is quite simple to do and your don't need to be too computer savvy. It is frightening.
